Both Timor Leste and India opened their respective embassies in Dili and New Delhi which indicates stronger diplomatic growth. Additionally since 2024 as Indian students have started pursuing their medical education at Timor Leste and simultaneous entry of Indian business community, it is expected the cooperation and relation would enhance further.
Students are required to complete a 12 month rotational internship at UNPAZ’s affiliated Guido Valadares National Hospital in Dili, East Timor. During this period they will undergo rotations across various departments, including ward postings, exposure to HDU and ICU settings, and work in rural health centers. This comprehensive training aims to provide practical, hands-on learning experiences.
